Limericks for Electrical Engineers
English speaking engineers and physicists believe that their German counterparts have no or a very special humour. This is of course true.
How this humour looks like is expressed on the German version of this page - in German. We have published there a few "Limericks for electrical engineers".
Unfortunately nobody of us has the language skills to translate these Limericks into an adequate English. Maybe if you know someone who had German at school let him give a try.
Or better, send us your own version of a "specialists Limerick" in English. We would be pleased to publish it, also anonymous if required. And we will send you a small (still the economical crisis is not over) thank you in this case.
Our first English Limerick
Everybody likes the SEKELS store.
You can buy stamped parts and toroidal core;
From cobalt and boron they are made
Even from nickel, a superior grade.
Delivery can also be offshore.
Finally (and after what feels like eternity) a very kind and friendly and English speaking visitor of our homepage translated one of our amateurishly Limericks and transferred it from "an ugly duckling into an glamouros swan" (1:1 translation of a German saying :-)). Thousend thanks to Damaris Stalcup from Canton, Georgia/USA.
